| Post Mortem | JLT HISTORY COMMITTEE
A committee has been formed to compile and research the overwhelming amount of material that has been compiled since the formation of Joplin Little Theatre in 1939.
We are hoping to organize this material in a way that it can be displayed and enjoyed by our patrons. There are notebooks full of Board meeting minutes, scrapbooks full of newspaper articles and pictures, newsletters, programs. There is the wonderful collection of pictures from shows from 1939 to 1980 (many of these were restored in the 1990's by Philip Jones and Cleo Copeland), and file folders full of pictures from shows of recent years.
We are missing show photographs from 1980 to 1995. If anyone has some of these, we would love to see them and add to our collection.
This is just the beginning of a challenging and interesting journey. We welcome any suggestions you may have to help us along the way.

| Webb City Farmer's Market | The Webb City Farmer’s Market will sponsor JLT every second Tuesday of the month June through October!
This means JLT’s board members and other volunteers will man a booth selling burgers and hotdogs from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
All proceeds benefit JLT. So come out from some good food and fun and support JLT!
(The Farmer's Market is located at King Jack Park, just east of the `Praying Hands` in Webb City.)

JLT Summer Workshop
Registration Day for the Summer Workshop has been set as Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 9:30am until noon at the theatre.
The workshop runs July 14-25, 2008 with two sessions available:
9:30am - noon
or
1:00pm - 3:30pm
$80.00 per session per child.

| GR writes " Since accepting my role of leadership with the theatre, an important goal has been to acknowledge every monetary contribution which has been made to Joplin Little Theatre. To be certain that no individual or business had been overlooked, I recently requested a copy of our treasurer's report of donations for 2007-2008.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, letters were sent expressing our sincere gratitude for the generous support of our community theatre which, during the 2009-2010 season, will observe seventy years of providing entertainment to the Joplin community and surrounding area. We are also certainly very grateful for each of the volunteers who give freely of their time and talents by bringing live theatre to each of you who purchase memberships and faithfully attend our shows.

The first rehearsal will be Friday, April 4, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Joplin Little Theatre. We will read through the script – please be prepared to stay and listen to all the scenes. Bring a pencil!!
Lara Hicks will also be taking measurements for the costumes.
